Students Return after the Holidays

Students returned to school on Monday 8/1/2007 after the long Christmas holiday. It is an exceptionally cold winter this year. The temperature most nights and mornings are below zero degree centigrade. Praise God, most of our central heating units are keeping our children warm. We only had one failure which meant some classrooms and two of the families (boarding homes) were a whole day and one night without central heating. Thanks to our maintenance team and local technicians, the unit was fixed and heating was resumed. All is well in spite of the chilling start of 2007. Children, like the birds around us, challenge the cold, and continue to play outside. It is wonderful how the noise of the children brought our school back to life, after the long quiet holiday.
