Schneller Students Celebrate Eid al-Fitr al-Saeed

Schneller students celebrated Eid al-Fitr al-Saeed on Thursday 19 October with a special program held in Herman Schneller Hall. All families (group of boarding students living in one building) prepared something special for the occasion and Thursday was the day to present the program in a very special celebration. Later that evening, all the students had a very special Iftar dinner with special food for the occasion. It was an occasion for celebration, but it was also an opportunity to make our students learn about the faith and traditions of others. This is a vital component of our peace education in order to teach tolerance through learning about the faith and traditions of our fellow sisters and brothers. A very happy Eid al-Fitr to all our students.
