Boarding department activities
At the beginning of the school year in our boarding department, this moment captures the warmth and energy of students settling into a new chapter of their lives. Surrounded by their educators, the children take part in joyful activities designed to help them feel welcomed, safe, and included from the very first days. Laughter, interaction, and shared experiences fill the space, gently easing the transition away from home and helping each student feel a true sense of belonging within the school community. In these early moments, the educators play a deeply important role, not only as teachers but also as caring figures who show constant support, patience, and affection. Their presence helps replace feelings of distance from family with reassurance, trust, and connection. The children are seen smiling, engaging, and enjoying themselves naturally, as the environment encourages them to open up and feel comfortable. This atmosphere of care and positivity allows them to grow emotionally while adapting to boarding life, ensuring that they do not feel alone or disconnected, but instead embraced and valued. It is a gentle reminder that school can be a second home, where learning is supported by kindness, and where every child is given the space to feel happy, secure, and truly part of a community.
