JLSS Students Visit Hamlyn Hospital

JLSS students of Grades 9, 10, and 11 visited the home for the elderly in Hamlyn Hospital - Hammana on Monday 5 May 2014. The Head of the Academic Department, Mrs. Rita Shakrina along with Mrs. Odette Haddad Makhoul, Mr. Jean Boutros, and Mr. Bashir Monsef accompanied the students on this trip.
The students had previously raised money for this trip through a cake-sale they held at school. They used this money to buy food and dessert for the elderly in Hamlyn Hospital.
Our students were very well received by the hospital staff and the elderly residents who were overjoyed with this visit.
We commend our students for their spirit of social responsibility towards the elderly in our community. We also thank them for this wonderful visit.
