8 year old part time job

why?

a student spends, at least, seven hours in her/his classroom. our purpose is to make each classroom at schneller institute a pleasant place for interacting and studying. in order to facilitate discussion groups we are planning to have mobile chairs and desks and desks instead of traditional fixed double or triple student desks. moreover, our present furniture is almost 30 years old and maintaining it has become an expensive matter.

what does furnishing a classroom mean?
new desks new chairs new teacher�s desk and chair whiteboard (instead of a chalkboard) new bulletin boards new wooden closet with shelves new colorful painting of the whole classroom new double glazed aluminum windows to save on energy costs during winter new colorful curtains a cd player.

how much does it cost?

depending on the number of students in each classroom the average cost for furnishing one classroom of 25 students is us$ 2,850.00.
how long does it take? this is a quick project. after we receive your contribution we need three weeks to have the newly furnished classroom ready.

what do you get in return?
a thank you letter signed by all students of the newly furnished classroom. a brass plaque will be posted by the door of the newly furnished classroom (this serves as an incentive for others to follow your steps). a great feeling as you contribute to the education of hundreds of girls and boys who are studying at j. l. schneller school.
