Empty classrooms and quiet corridors stand in stark contrast to the vibrant life that normally fills our school, as the ongoing war has forced its closure and disrupted the daily rhythm of learning. The absence of students’ voices, shared activities, and hands-on training highlights the profound impact that conflict has on education and the wider community. Even our boarding students were not able to return or remain on campus, further deepening the sense of separation from a place that once felt like a second home. For all our students, this interruption goes far beyond missed lessons; it affects their sense of stability, their emotional well-being, and their connection to an environment that represents growth, safety, and opportunity. School is not only where they gain knowledge and practical skills, but also where they build friendships, confidence, and aspirations for the future. The current silence reflects the challenges they are facing, as uncertainty replaces routine and progress is placed on hold. Yet, even in these difficult circumstances, the resilience of our students and staff remains strong. There is a shared hope that these spaces will soon be filled again with energy, learning, and purpose, allowing our students to continue their journeys and move forward toward the futures they are working so hard to achieve.
