BibleLands Visit to JLSS

Our friends and partners from BibleLands have not been able to visit Lebanon for sometime because of the security situation. This year we were lucky as Mo Burnley and Jessica Thrift were able to come to Lebanon and visit our school. They arrived on Wednesday November 12 and stayed in our guest house for the night. They spent Thursday morning in our school catching up with developments since their last visit and meeting with the director and other members of staff. They were able to see the work that is being done in the Girls' Vocational Training Center which is kindly financed by grants from BibleLands and our German and Swiss partners. Our friendship with BibleLands goes back a very long time. Our school was able to do many projects through very kind grants from BibleLands. Many of our children are in the child sponsorship program of BibleLands. We express our most sincere gratitude to Mo and Jessica for their kind visit, and we praise God for our partnership with BibleLands that is enabling us to provide better care to our children.
