Alton Roberts Chemistry Awards 2009/2010

Ghiwa Shakrina and Yassmeen Daishoum won the Alton Roberts Chemistry Awards for the academic year 2009/2010. These awards are in memory of the Rev. Dr. C. Alton Roberts who was a former teacher at JLSS and the late president of the Lutheran Board of Mission - USA. Both Ghiwa and Yassmeen, who had the highest grades in Chemistry in their class this year, received the awards and a cheque for fifty US Dollars each, during morning chapel on Monday 21 June 2010. We congratulate them both and thank Rev. Shankweiler and the Lutheran Board of Mission - USA for their support of our school and encouragement of our students.
