A Very Special EED AL-ADHA AL-MOUBARAK Celebration

Sheikh Deebeh Leading Chapel The celebration of EED AL-ADHA AL-MOUBARAK in JLSS this year was very special. His Grace Sheikh Abbas Deebeh and His wife accepted the invitation of Rev. George D. Haddad and his wife to celebrate EED AL-ADHA AL-MOUBARAK in JLSS. Sheikh Deebeh arrived with his wife at 5.40 PM on Thursday 11 November 2010. He lead the chapel service which was attended by the staff and students of the Boarding Department. Also attending was a big number of JLSS teachers and members of staff. He delivered a most wonderful address about tolerance, cooperation, and love between Muslims and Christians as the core value and intention of both religions. He quoted both the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible to indicate that we are all called to live together in harmony and love. He also explained the meaning of EED AL-ADHA AL-MOUBARAK reminding everyone that it is the time to rejoice, praise God, enjoy His great blessings, and do good to the less fortunate in our societies.
After the chapel service Sheikh Deebeh and his wife, Rev. Haddad and his wife, and all the guests along with students from Boys' Families 6 and 7 and Girls' Family 3 had dinner together in the main dinning hall. All other boys and girls also had the special dinner in their families (boarding homes) as there was The Special Adha Dinner not enough space for all students in the main dinning hall. The food was exceptionally good. The kitchen staff prepared a delicious meal for the occasion with special desserts which everyone very much enjoyed.
It was truly a very special celebration which the presence of Sheikh Deebeh and his wife made into a fantastic festival of kindness and joy. We praise God for this wonderful celebration, and we very warmly and sincerely thank Sheikh Deebeh and his wife for giving Schneller a wonderful  EED AL-ADHA AL-MOUBARAK. Their outstanding kindness, friendship, and especially the address in chapel made Schneller very grateful for such exceptional friends.
A Very Blessed and Happy  EED AL-ADHA AL-MOUBARAK to all.
